Electrical Objects
Electrical objects can either be placed on the Walls or Ceilings of your design.
Place Electrical Objects
Left-click on an item in the library to select it and hover over a wall/ceiling, then left-click again to place it.
Activate the Dimension Move Tool to show the Electrical Object’s height and placement in relation to the other objects around it.
If you are struggling to place electrical objects on ceilings, switch to the Fly Through Camera and look up to the ceiling by right-clicking & holding your mouse to adjust your view.
Imagine you are standing in your tiny house design and are pointing at spots to place your electrical objects!
Most items are placed on walls, but some items like downlights, pendant lights, smoke detectors and ceiling fans can be placed on the ceiling!
If Electrical Objects disappear while placing them on the ceiling, change your Grid Size to 1mm or 1/32in for a very fine grid.
